About Savannah Family Dentistry

Savannah Family Dentistry is one of the dentists listed in Savannah, Georgia. The business is registered at 5420 Paulsen St, Savannah, GA 31405; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

In Savannah, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Georgia, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

Hours are published for 4 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–1 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Savannah Family Dentistry at (912) 777-5767; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, savannahfamilydentistry.com.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 73 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded dentists in Savannah.

Savannah is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Savannah is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!Really wish I could give negative stars. My experience here was nothing short of hell. They will laugh in your face when you express concerns. The permanent crown they installed popped off literally four times. I just woke up this am to it popped off again. They are so bizarre acting here and beyond incompetent. The β€œdr” also decides to play the most gruesome discovery channel animal shows during her procedures. I had to watch monkeys get ripped apart by lions while she drilled my poor molar into a tiny tiny tiny nub that won’t even hold a crown, per my new dentist assessment. It gets even worse- I paid for my procedure in cash and they had the nerve to accuse me of not paying. They said their usual front desk girl wasn’t working that day. Next thing I know a collection agency is harassing me on their behalf. I finally completely snapped on the collection agency and haven’t heard from the but omg, there is something very sick and twisted about this place and the head dentist. Beware.

I have been going to her for years and Dr. Hissam is as pleasant and professional as she was from day one of my visit. The staff is always polite and has the patient's best interest at heart... If you need a caring and knowledgeable dentist, she is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was seen for two cavities fillings in March and was left with pain each time I went I left with the same pain after telling them my concerns. This has never happened to me before until I switched dentist to this one. I will say staff is great and sweet but after having a procedure done that left me with pain I wouldn’t recommend this dentistry. I went to a different dentist who is now saying I need a crown on my tooth due to the damage that was done!

I’ve been going to this office for 5 years & counting now & I absolutely love it here! Dr. Hissam is the best at what she does. She’s always on time, takes pride in her work while also getting you out of the chair promptly. The office is very clean, staff is very nice. I highly recommend. 10/10.

Very disappointed by the way the receptionist has handled my calls. I reached out to receive a second opinion after doing an exam with another clinic. The receptionist explained that they will still have to charge me for an entire exam even with me providing the X-rays and everything. After scheduling a time, I received a text the day of that my appointment was cancelled. Same receptionist claimed that she called and left a voice message which wasn’t true. I asked when the next appointment available will be and it wasn’t until 7 days from now. I tried to ask if there’s a way to maybe squeeze in a short appointment since again - all the X-rays were taken and her response was β€œyou don’t have to do business with us, you can always go back to the original provider”. We ended the call and I thought I’ll try one more time to schedule. At that point the receptionist said they’re refusing to take me as a patient and claimed that I demanded the Dr. will see me even though she had a family emergency? As a small business owner myself with employees, I would never EVER say something like that to anyone, especially another professional. I have no idea how a phone call can get so misconstrue
